My ferret absolutely loves this alligator. After a minute or two investigating the outside, she climbed in and I've barely seen her since. After waiting for almost 20 minutes for her to come out, I took a peek and she was curled up ready to go to sleep. When I awoke in the morning, I came downstairs to see that she had come out, but only to pull her toys and food bowl right next to the mouth so she can eat and play without having to come out! I would highly recommend this item to anyone with a ferret.

UPDATE: 09/01/2010 - To this day, the alligator remains my ferret's favorite bed / toy. Although she has 3 other beds to choose from, most mornings I find her sleeping in the alligator. And after the addition of a second ferret to my family, I was very surprised to see that not only do they both fit inside, they both choose to sleep in it together. It's very durable despite them using it as a toy in addition to a bed, I can't find a single stitch that has come loose, including the bell inside.

I purchased this product so my ferrets would have a place to hide and play while they are in their cage. They love it! It has a little ball with a bell in it on the inside. I also like that it is machine washable. I will probably buy them another one when this one gets too raggedy.

The alligator lasts a long time. It is able to be washed in cool water and then line dried. At least 2 ferrets can fit in it at a time. It keeps them out of the room light and keeps them warm. It is a favorite for nap time!

I highly recommend this product for anyone that has a ferret. My ferret took to it immediately. Very durable. Has a dangling bell inside. (which makes it even more fun) It is so plush & soft! My ferret, Brie, just can not get enough of it. She plays & sleeps in it everyday. So cute, she thinks she's hidden when she peaks her little nose out of the alligator's mouth. (which just looks so funny) My daughter loves it too! It will bring much fun & entertainment for you and yours!!

my ferret loves this bed, it also comes with a neat little bell that sammy plays with constantly, its just too cute when i see her inside curled up in a deep sleep, she used to have a hammock, and those would tear up and get on my nerves, this is just too awesome for words and i love it.
